Airlines will accept alternative forms of I.d. See site below to see list of I.d. that United will accept. You can CALL your airline and ASK what they will accept.

Sean
Yes, the airline will consider you a "selectee passenger" and will require you to go through secondary screening at the TSA checkpoint.

hey sean hit it right on the button he right

As long as you have your passport and another phote ID you should be fine

flash_flotsam
Anyone who is telling you that you must have ID to get through security is absolutely wrong. The TSA will allow persons who do not have ID to go through security; however, they will require that person to go through additional security screening at the checkpoint.

As has already been noted by another poster, the airline itself may accept other ID for its purposes; you might wish to consult the airline directly to see what types of ID it deems to be acceptable.

You will need some form of photo ID to get through security

The answer is yes on most airlines.
If you check with Delta they will want you to have some form of ID to check in.
On other airlines you will have to go thru extra security screening of your check bags as well as any carry ons you take thru the security checkpoint.

I'm assuming you lost your driver's license? Unless you have another government-issue ID (like a passport, DMV ID card (not a driver's license)) then no, you won't get past security.
