If i put a bottle full of water in my luggage will they take apart my luggage to look at it?

depends on which bag- if you check it in a bag, than no, they wont go through it

but if its in a carry on bag- you will probably have to take it out- the rules are changing a lot but im pretty sure you cant bring a whole water bottle

Checked luggage doesn't matter. You can have a suitcase full of bottled watter and they won't care.

Carry-on luggage does matter. Liquids should be in small containers (3 oz each) I think and you can only carry on enough to fit 1 quart size ziplock bag. If you try bringing water bottles or any other liquid/gel-like substance in a container larger than 3 oz, they will have you throw it in the trash.

Bring an empty water bottle and once you get past the security areas, fill it up using one of the water fountains. (Don't bring expensive ones. I've heard of overzealous security guards at some airports that won't let people through even with empty bottles.) Or just buy bottled water at one of the shops.

P.S. These are US standards, but many other countries are adopting the same or similar standards.

dude just put it in a plastic bag and in no more then a three ounce bottle or theyll make u throw it away and u need to take it out of ur bag before u go throungh the xray thing. if u dont ull be f*cked

They can open even your checked bags if they consider something to appear suspicious. If it's just water, they will put it back and close it up and there won't be a problem at all. They also choose random suitcases to be opened and inspected, so that could well be yours then too.

You can't take bottled water through security in your carry-on. They make you throw it away.

yes, but they tell you before hand to take out bigger than 3oz bottles of liquid. dont worry they can sort of pinpoint were it is already if it does go throught x ray, so all your stuff wont be hurt in any way.Mexico flights are less paranoid when it comes to liquids, they didn't even check our carry on this week either.
If its in your suit case, then you have nothing at all to worry about, you could even bring alcohol.

Why don't you carry it in your hand luggage?I wouldn't take the risk.
