No - you will just need a government issued id (drivers license) with the name on the id matching the name on your boarding pass. |

No, you dont have to have a passport to fly between states. Whoever told you that you need one is wrong. I am a US citizen too and I went to Alaska without my passport. |

No, If you are a US Citizen you only need proper ID such as a driver license or a birth cerficate to fly within the states. But as of 2007 any US Citizen that is flying out of country (and not to a US Teritory such as the US virgin islands you) needs a passport. |

Just for an official answer...that is as others have said NO, you do not need a passport to fly anywhere in the US territories. I worked in the Airlines for 10 years. |

no, you do not need your passport since you are not leaving this country. but you need a photo id that is issued by government. like drive license. if you don't have any photo id you can use, bring your passport with you then. |
