If you miss your flight, do they put you on the next plane?

In general you will be placed on the next available flight. Note that it is the next available flight though, not the next flight. If the flights to your destination are full they will not bump others for you. The delay may be anywhere from a couple of hours to the following day and, in extreme cases, even longer. It depends on the number of flights to your destination and the time of year (busy vs off season).

They will place you in the same category as your current ticket so you may have the option to pay to upgrade your ticket and fly out quicker. In addition they can offer to refund the difference for the missed section of your flight. This allows you to arrange alternate transportation (ground or air) if you wish. Each airline is different however and the circumstances which caused you to miss your flight can be taken into consideration.

they put you on the next flight possible. because all the flights would have been booked by other people they will put you on the soonest flight they can..

If there were seats available on the next flight, they would have put you on. If the next flight was full you would have been on stand by.

yes, they do, but for all you know the next flights could be 2 days away..... i dont think you'd have to pay for it

They give you another free flight and put you up in a hotel. This is all free.

With all the new regulations many passengers are delayed and airlines will make every possible effort to get you on the next available flight, do be prepared to pay any upgrade or re-booking fees since many airlines have had to change policies with the stressed financial climate. Good Luck!

Well,I'm Not 100 Percent Sure, But I Remember My Mom Telling Me You Get A Half Percent refund And They Don't Put You On The Next Plane.But I'm Not So Sure, Cause She Wasn't Really Concentrating At The Moment.

yeah, but someairlines. are really cheap they dont give you a refund on ur missed flight, and you have to buy a new ticket for the next one.
