Will have enough money for another 3-5 days spending. In case any unpredictable events happen.
Just bring a credit card with you.

i would start with $200 in cash, then the rest on credit cards, and as the cash runs out go to atm's and get another $200

well depending on where i was going i would calculate it like this if you are driving figure in for gas and always calculate a dollar extra per gallon then what you are paying ex: you pay 2.45 make it 3.45 because gas prices vary estimate what you spend on food keep that money seperate gas and food and bring a $150 - $250 more for that then consider what you want on spending money and do the same take $150 - $250 extra and take a calling card in case of emergency and take your bank card with and extra amount on it $250 - $500 you may just need it this is emergency cash and if you plan on taking a lot of cash do traveler Checks too but always keep some cash on you

none i use the plastic money the entire time because how often do you really go on vacation, you should just relax and enjoy every minuite of it and not have to worry about things like money.

I wouldn't bring money, I'd bring a credit card ! Why? Because what would I do if there is an emergency or if I run out of cash?

I would maybe bring about $20 - mostly in $1's to use for tips. I tend to use my debit card for everything else. I'd never take a trip on 'credit'. If you can't afford it with cash, then you can't afford to pay it back. If you don't have a debit card, then get travelers checks for your expenses. If you lose those or they get stolen you can get them replaced.
You should figure out a budget for your transportation - gas, air, bus, train, etc.; lodging; food - $40 per day - then add 10% for anything that might come up. If it's a shopping trip, plan accordingly. If you are buying gifts for family or friends, give yourself a set dollar amount to spend per person.
Have fun!

it depends on how much hookers and drugs cost where i'm going
