If you were to jump out of a plane at 12.000 feet, you fall at 120 mp/h, would you bounce when you hit ground?

And what sound would it make once you do?

Hitting the ground at that speed - would you REALLY care when you hit whether you bounced and what sound you will make?

dcgirl
You would splat, and the sound would be "splat."

fatdadslim
you would not bounce, their would be a thud and you would be dead

I suppose it would depend on the landing surface....

Water, Field, Driveway, etc.

Are you planning on trying this... if you do let us know what sound you make, cuz none of us are stupid enough to care what sound the person makes when they hit the ground...thats kinda wrong

yes, 3 feet .. the sound would be: Ka-Blam

you see, in all actually it depends on the many, many factors .. there is no way to answer your question. It depends on whether you are in a Cessna or a 747, if the plane is fully loaded or empty, the amount of fuel on board, the angle in which you hit the ground, the type of ground you are hitting (desert or swamp lands) ... many, many variables.
