If your 11 and your flying from IL to California what would you bring on the plane?

I used to fly alot by myself when I was younger.. Handheld video games are a plus, magazines, coloring books (I know 11 is a little old to color but it passes the time rather quickly). Mad libs are always fun and puzzle books (word searches, crosswords, suduko). You will probably have an inflight movie, which in most cases you can check the airlines website and see what that is (you may not want to watch it or it may be inappropriate). Bring your own headphones so you don't have to pay 5 dollars for their goofy old school ones. My mom would always also pack a goody bag for me with one of my favorite treats, and some granola or a sandwhich.. depends on what you like. Also especially for a younger person GUM a good pack of gum so that you can chew a piece during take off, landing, flying etc. whenever your ears get that funny feeling. Have a good flight!!

I would bring an iPod (if i have one) my favorite things to read, and any handheld video games that i may have (like a PSP or Nintendo DS) I will also bring my ID, plane ticket and other things i need to get on the plane.

Bring an Ipod or MP3 player. Maybe some sort of game system like PSP or Gamboy.. You can always bring a book or magazines to catch up on your reading..

Just things to read or play. Try a novel or crossword puzzle book, magazines gameboys or something of that sort. Theres really a limit to what you can do beacuse of the security. usually on a plane ride that long they provide pillows and blankets if you want to sleep. Also they show moves but its usually $10 for headphones! so try to bring your own.

some kind of gaming system, possibly an iPod, i remember when i was 11 i loved to draw and color, so i would bring a coloring book and a sketch pad also, along with some coloring pencils or crayons. (crayons are awesome)
