You can fly without your parents but you do need permission. |

You can fly alone, but will not be able to purchase a plane ticket until you are 18 and also have a credit card.
If your Aunt buys you the ticket and you have a valid ID, you should have no problem taking the trip. If your parents are against it though, your Aunt could get herself into some hot water if she does that against your parents wishes. |

Yes, you can be 16 and fly alone. But you do need paren's consent before doing so. |

I believe you need paren'ts permission, but ofcourse you can fly by yourself. Check your state's law though, I'm in California. |

You can fly without your parents when your 6, I believe. My younger cousin has done it, but they were watched over by the cabin crew 24/7. |

Sure you can fly by yourself, you'll probably need their permission since you are a minor. Kids as young as 8 or 9 fly by themselves.
Suppose they let you on the plane w/out your parents consent or knowledge, and the plane crashed. They could be sued BIG TIME! The people who say you don't have to have consent are not smart!! That's putting it nicely. You are under 18. |

Yes you need parents consent to purchase a ticket. You do not have to be accompanied by an adult.
FAA regulations require accompanied minor form for all minors to be filled out by both parents, if living.. One parent if the other is deceased with proper deceased parent paperwork, or by a legal guardian and caseworker if both parents are not present. It is a federal law and does not vary from state to state.
Sounds like you want to do something behind your parents back.
I wouldn't if I were you. |

I checked this out for my sister last year.
You can take a plane by yourself, and if your parents want for a small fee (like $25) a stewardest can make sure you get your luggage and are escorted to your connecting flight if you have one.
You should be fine. |

Well, I'm 16 and I'm flying from Utah to NY tommorrow.
They said till you were 17 you'd have to have some lady watch you,
But yes you can fly by yourself, but you have to have parent's permission and they have to pay extra. Like 200$, that's what I had to pay. |

You can ride the plane by yourself but you have to fill out an accompanied minor form for certain airlines but because you are 16 you can just ride alone. See your airlines rules for unaccompanied minors. |

You can go by yourselft. And someone said check with your state's law. Umm no. It's not different in every state. It's the airlines rules or maybe the FAA regulations. |

You can probably fly by yourself, but you should get your parents permission, especially if you're using their money to pay for the flight. |

Call the airline.
In Texas, you can get your own pilot's license and FLY your own plane solo by the time you're 16!
Have fun!
