Yeah, school ID works (cuz your still in the country) I was able to fly to alaska using a school ID.
Its actually better if you used a government ID card (like a drivers license or a state ID card) but for the time being, the school ID will work. |

you can get a state photo id at the dmv it looks just like a license.. you could also get a passport id, that'd work.. but you need some kind of real id. your school id will not work (think of how easy someone could make one up) |

Probably. You need a photo ID to get on a plane. You'd better check with your airline to see if they'll accept your school ID. Otherwise you may be taking the train - unless you have or can get a driver's license before your flight. |

That depends on your age. If you are 16 and above you will need an official ID. If you are younger a school ID or a parent being with you will work. |

You should be able to use your school ID as long as it has a recent photo of you and your full name along with a certified birth certificate. Otherwise, if you have a passport, that would work also. You should call the airport that your flying out of, and the one you will be coming home on to make sure that it would be ok. |

if you are under the age of 16 then you dont need to have a form of id if you are 16 or oldr i do believe you ned t have a form of id. |

If you're an adult, you must have a government issued, photo ID.
If you can't produce that, the airline won't issue you with a boarding pass. |

ID is required for almost all times during air travel. In this situation, the TSA recommends a "government issued photo ID", although in replacement of a government issued photo identification card, you required to bring two forms of identifcation to the airport with you. One of the two forms must be a government issued document, like a birth certificate, the other may be your school ID. |
