You are allowed to bring areosols, gels. creams. ect. Here are the requirements.

Carry-On: You are allowed any aresol, liquid, etc if it's in a container of less than 3oz (the container itself must be -30z). And all the items must fit in ONE one-gallon zip-lock bag.

Luggage: You can pack all these things, even if their flammable, unless the porpose of the item is for fire (a.k.a ligher fluid, butane, propane, etc.) So hairspray is OK.

Here is the list from the TSA.

you can bring all of them if you check it in. if you bring those items in a carry on they have to be 3 oz or less bottles

Some guys are pethitic on here.

All of the gel restrictions is only for carry on baggage. Whaen I went to Japan 12 months ago, I just put it in my checked baggage.

I found at the arriving airport that someone had gone through my bags, but it was just my toiletries bag slightly open...probobly by security.

They will look...if its gone when you get to the arriving port, ring the departing airport and see what there checked bag security had confiscated.

Nothing should be confiscated when checked in.

You need a quart sized plastic baggy. You can put any products in there that are 3.2 ozs. or less. This includes make up, deoderant, lotions, toothpaste, hair spray (I recommend the pump kind and not the aerosol kind). You can shove as much in there as you can as long as it can close, then you are ok.

When you got through security, take out the bag of stuff and place it in the container to be scanned.

other than that, you'll be fine

Dany
You have to bring hairspray and body lotion.

you can't bring any liquid or gel that is more than 2oz on the the plain as a carry on. so if you need them pack them in your suitcase and check it. if you don't they will confiscate it and you'll never get it back. my aunt had to surrender a brand new bottle of burberry once. it was not fun.
