Is EasyJet a good way to travel in Europe? Any experiences?

Yes, they're great as far as I'm concerned, and all the experiences with them have been good. I've always found their booking process simple and straightforward, check in quick and efficient, boarding easy and organised with consideration given to those with special needs, and the staff friendly and cheerful.
My most recent flight with them was last month, to and from Paphos, Cyprus. The flights were on time, with more leg room than on some of their shorter flights, and in both directions we had interesting & informative pilots, in addition to the on screen flight tracker. It must also be said that they have one of the youngest fleet of aircraft of the UK carriers.
I've just booked another flight to Malaga with them and, from Gatwick, had a choice of 6 flight times per day. How many operators give you that choice?
Unfortunately, there are those that delight in running down Easyjet, even though they have never flown with them. They are very likely the same people that would never shop in Lidl's, i.e. have an attitude problem.
Easyjet were not voted the 2nd best low cost airline in Europe, and the 3rd in the world for 2007, without doing many things right.
As you may have gathered, I'm a fan.

I find Easy jet fine. I do not rate British Airways.

Not bad. Definatly budget airline but good enough. Staff are polite

i travel with easyjet frequently and upto now have never had a single problem with them. they have always been pleasant, accomodating and quick to deal with whatever situation that came up.

I've always found them good for short trips. Their airbuses are more comfortable than the 737s that other airlines use. The only problem is that it's the chavs favourite airline. Remember to buy a sandwich in the departure lounge.

The good. I fly with them 4 or 5 times a year and have been on time most of the time. The largest delay I have had was in 2003 Luton to Paris but apart from that all trips have gone smoothly.

Just don't turn up at the airport to early as they only open check in 2 hours before.

They are much beter than Ryanair.

I've flown with easyjet a few times and have never had a problem. I'm always shocked to see their 'goings-on' when I watch Airline on ITV2, lol. They're good though... cheap & cheerful. xx

definitely for short trips. I took it from Edinburgh to London and then London to Rome. Not too difficult- like being on a flying bus.

you just have to pay extra per bag- not too much i remember

Easy jet are a reliable budget airline to fly around with but not any further
And there cheap if you book at the right time

you have no seats delegated to you so its like a herd of elephants running for a bus, however its the plane!!!! Everyone wants the window seat right????? And then you finally get on there and you end up on some cruddy seat next to a very fat smely person and then you are stuck there for the duration of your flight!!! There are NO luxuries!!! So yeh hell I would book with them again they are great!!! ha ha :-)
