I have flown on Southwest many times, they do not have assigned seating so if you decide to use them make sure you go 24 hours prior to departure to get your boarding pass. they load by number now, they used to board in groups, I havent tried it this way so we shall see, Between my husband and I we fly 20-30 times a year bewtween business and pleasure and have never really had any issues with southwest. The only negative is , if you are in a larger party it is hard to sit together becasue of the way they assign boarding passes.

I think its pretty good. I flew on their plane last year and I thought the seats were pretty comfortable, my departure flight was on time and my return flight was on time (Southwest does have a good on time record) and the people were great. Plus, i got a good deal on my ticket too.
