My uncle is a pilot, and when I was 15 (Im 24 now) I went up with him in a little 2 seater plane... I remember him saying "now I have to turn around the plane will go sideways, dont be afraid though, im just turning" And I remember thinking - Im not scared at all it feels natural...
These days though, after recent life events and high anxiety levels - I wouldnt get on a plane... |

Not at all, it is the safest form of air travel and I fly about 1000 hours per year... That is of course my job but I love it and have been fascinated with it since the first time watched an airplane take flight... |

I was. I was terrified. I hated the idea of going on a plane. Then I went on my first one. A transatlantic flight, MIA to Paris. I felt comfortable on the plane and I survived it. It is true what they say, you do not think about anything on the plane but the meals, thirst, and the next leg of your journey. If your fear is really really bad, take some type of sleeping pill and you will live through it. |
