I prefer Rome by far, over Paris. Rome has much more interesting things to see, at least for me, and you can walk around the city and run into a bunch of things that you never would have expected to. Would pick Rome over Paris.

I looove both cities. There really amazing. However, (I love them both!) if I had to travel to either Italy or Paris...Italy.

It depends which month of the year. Weather is wormer in Rome. Paris is a beautiful city and is worth to see but I personally prefer Rome.
You have an article on Paris and a very complete travel story of Rome here: http://travel.sylickon.com

Both great.

They're both gorgeous, amazing places. I've been to both, Rome multiple times, and they are gorgeous. Personally, Italy is my favorite place in the world, so I would have to go to Rome, but you cannot go wrong with either of them.

Paris. I went to Rome and found it incredibly boring.
