Never flown before - Will I throw up - I don't have a weak stomach or anything - but I heard about the vomit bags?

Only if you are falling - - - lol

No, flying is actually fun - especially the take off

The only reason why you would puke is if you fly for a really long time - chew gum and drink 7-up or something like it

blooperzine
It's not scary at all. If you don't have a weak stomach, then you're good to go. For me, airsickness and the airplane food are the major issues for me. But I never vomitted or anything like that. I use the bags to put garbage and stuff.

designer_bunnie
If you don't have a weak stomache, you should be fine.

mac
i love to fly. shouldn't get sick unless u are prone to motion sickness.

Flying is fun! Think of it like a roller coaster ride. It's exciting! Exspecially when your landing. That's the best! Chew gum.

That guy you hate, for no reason

umm flying is not scary i do it all the time it is at first and you have to watch out for black holes lol just kiddin but yea there are vomit bags but dont worrie every thing will be ok

Mordent
I didn't like the ascent or descent much, I was yawning so much my eyes were watering. Most of the flight is pretty boring - unless it's really turbulent.

Go to an amusement park and take the Ferris wheels. if you can take those rides you can fly in anything including fighter jets.

No, its just a little scary on your first time but just relax and if your still scared fall asleep. Air Travel is on of the safests forms of travel alot safer than driving a car.

Nope, nothing like that happened for me when I flew for the 1st time. But yes I was kind of scared thinking of hijackers & terrorists. Thats all. One thing do not over eat before the journey, but also do not starve either

Only if you psych yourself out about it. It's like a bus and it's a quite boring most of the time. You just sit there in this uncomfortable seat with all these strangers around you who are stealing the pillows, bumping your seat on their way to the bathroom and smashing their oversize suitcases in the tiny bins above your head. Then when the plane stops, everyone stands up and just waits around in the aisles for all the slow folks in the front rows to gather their things and clear out.

FatalxDoll
no not at all..

they have special pills for ppl thatthrow up, just in case u might wanna buy them. they calm ur nervs too.

dont worry tho.

most people dont get airsick - if they do, its because of turbulance (the air bouncing the plane around). Im not particularly fond of the idea of flying. It goes against the laws of nature for me to be seated in a metal thing weighing tonnes thats up in the air!!! I hate take off and landings - but once Im in the sky, Im fine. Even though It makes me nervous, its the best and fastest way to travel - and even the safest!!! Enjoy it and dont panic about what big scardey cats like me have said - you might find that you love it!!!!

Don't be afraid. Try to zone out and not think about where you actually are. I usually read a book, listen to music or watch a movie. There are vomit bags for people who have have weak stomachs. I have flown over 100,000 miles and haven't once ever seen anyone use them. Sometimes you the flights get a little turbulent but it's not anythin awful. I love flying because all cell phones are off so most people are quiet doing their own thing. Good luck and don't be afraid!

No not really. just don't think of it while the plane takes off and keep reading something. You won't even know that you have taken off.

pnkdiamond20
No, it is FUN!

Shadow
only if you don't have a parachute

piteous_wight
Not one bit, after you get through this, you wont get enough!
But if you're that concerned about it, try staying awake for three or four days prior to flying that way you'll be way too tired to be worried about anything.

only if someone has a bomb on the plane or the pilot is on a suicide mission.

the only thing about flying is the landing and if you hit turbulence. other then that its like riding in a really big car

gloria381948
No, flying is not scary...it is nothing at all like those movies on tv, and believe you me....I thought it was gonna be like that..especially when the pilot said there will be some slight "turbulence"....all I could think of was everything would start to fall, the plane would go topsy-turvy!!!!! All because of the airplane movies!!!!
When my pilot said the T word, I froze in my seat!!! Didn't budge, just stared straight ahead. Nothing at all happened!! The turbulence felt like driving over potholes in the streets!!! My husband and our son had a good laugh on me!! Ever since then, I have had very enjoyable flights.

jaimestar64cross
flying is sooo cool !
The only time you have to worry about throwing up is when they run into turbulence and the flight gets bumpy ... yes, they have barf bags in the seat pocket in front of you.

Jessie
The actual flying part isn't scary, no. Turbulence in the air due to storms, etc. can be a little rough if you aren't used to it, but it hasn't ever turned my stomach, and I get carsick pretty easily. You should be fine.

Your ears will pop when the plane climbs. If you're worried that might be a little uncomfortable, just chew a piece of gum & swallow often until your ears adjust.

What's NOT fun about flying at present is getting through security with all of the regulations about what can't come on board (like bottled water, lipgloss, or any other liquids, etc.), taking your shoes off to go through the metal detector, and having to get to the airport several hours before departure in the first place. So be prepared for a little frustration in the terminal!
