Yes absolutely. The ban that most affects us is the ban on liquids. For example, a person can not take a bottle of water through the airport security check point, but once through they are free to buy a bottle of water on the inside.
Food is a little different. Cookies can be packed into a small bag and carried onto the plane and thru security inside of his briefcase or back-pack.

Cookies are fine. I fly a lot and they wouldn't never stop me for outside food brought in. They are also about to lift the liquid ban next year so cross your fingers! |

Not really because airport security is very strict, you cant bring like anything now in days. Usually after you go through security you can buy food and drinks, i would say no to your question, sorry! |

I should know... Ive been on more than 40 planes in my life, and I'm not even 15 yet! :O Anyway, it depends on the kind of food... I guess cookies are okay... It also depends on the airport. The best thing to do would call and check with that exact airport (if you can) |
