Nope. Check http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm for things you can and can't bring. |

you cant take a nail file... but you...want to bring brass knuckles.... thatl be an interesting conversation.
" sir you have brass knuckles in your suitcase"
" yeah dont worry , i dont plan on hitting anyone with them'
" then exactly what are you planning on doing with them?"
i would just not bring them. |

The person who said that nail files cannot be taken on board a plane is wrong -- the TSA does not prohibit those in either carryon or checked luggage, according to the link below.
The link below also states that brass knuckles may be placed into checked luggage, but they cannot be carried onto an aircraft in hand-carried luggage.
It is worth noting, however, that the laws of both Georgia and Louisiana will apply regarding whether it is legal to possess them. Even though you will only be transiting Atlanta, you will have to go through customs and re-check your luggage there -- despite what you believe, your bags do not go straight through to New Orleans. You must claim them before you go through immigration/customs and then re-check them afterwards; therefore, if they're illegal in Georgia, then you'll have issues there. |

No, it isn't ok - stay home if you feel the need to bring illegal weapons to our country. |

I don't think you can even check them because they are illegal in some states. I would call your airline and ask them. |

No, leave the knuckles at home and take your AK 47 instead. It does a much nicer job...
Seriously, what does it matter where you get off the plane and your stopovers?
