Sciencey

Is it ok to have shaving cream in your checked luggage? I don't want it to burst or leak.?

Packing for a flight and have to either bring my shaving cream or throw it out. I'm pretty sure it's fine but just wanted to check because I've never brought it along before.

Put it in a liquid-tight zippered plastic bag and it should be fine. I take mine along with no problems.

I don't think it will burst. But check with the airline if it comes under the 100 ml. liquid rule unless you are packing in the suitcase to go into the cargo hold.

If the bottle contains more then 3.0 oz of a liquid, including saving cream, it is not allowed. The bottle must be in a quart sized clear bag. My dad recently flew and couldn't take it with him.

i've brought shaving cream on a plane before and nothing happened... but if you are worried just put it in a ziploc baggy.

Sonia K
yeah it should be fine, but i'd put in in a plastic bag to be safe

Yes you can but put a sandwich baggie around it and secure it with a rubberband. That way if it bursts, it won't get on everything.

kapn
sure.............

Ashley
you might be able to.
they'll either just make you separate it from the rest of your stuff or take it all together. put it in a ziploc bag just in case, they might make you do that as well.
