Plenty of people feel really nervous about flying, that is why they serve alcohol at the airport and on the airplane. It helps calm the nerves.

No, its fine. Really. This happens to plenty of people. On liftoff and landing, I get shaky and nervous too.

yes its normal, your gettin ready to go flying really really high in the air in a machine that could go down if somehting bad happend so its no wonder your nervous. you could try sittin away from the window and puttin your headphones in and turning your music up loud on ur mp3 player or somehting so you cant hear the loud noise so much and just close your eyes and relax that might help quite a bit :) x x x

Yes, its perfectly understandable. I get the same as this, although I've learned to control it better with time. Flying can be nerve wracking. I hate it, and am always relieved to touch down at my destination.

It's perfectly normal to feel nervous taking off on a airplane. People deal with that all the time when they fly. Just ignore what people say, best thing to do. There is also some motion sickness pills that you can try to see if they help relax you.

Yes/No It's not all that good of thing to do when the plane gets noisy its okay and when it goes up in the air just shut your eyes and then its kinda like being on a swing set

start chewing gum and try not to get to nervous one day either wise you'll have an air marshall escort you after the plane arrives!

Fabulous Gal
there is nothing to be afraid of. You just have to relax...

Many people get nervous during take-off and landing. You are not alone. I'm a flight attendant and I regularly see people that are frequent fliers (some that even fly as much as we do) and they grasp the armrest really tight. Just try to relax!!

aflumpire
hey, I have exactly the same probelm - but i dont need drugs.

its okay to feel a little nervous. I am sure that the 'bad thing' will cross everyones minds, but its fine.

once the plane starts to level out, I am fine...and I have flown a lot...I just watch too much Air Crash Investigation...thats the ONLY reason why im nervous.
