depends on the weather and if there's a queue.
usually on long haul flights of 7 hours or more anyone can have a go (sometimes 2 goes) - the best thing is to ask the attendant when you board. |

In flight the airspeed is about 600mph so I doubt it. Also there ain't much air to speak of. You would also have to wear your dads longjohns as its rather chilly too. About minus 60 |

no I don't believe so, i am no astro physicist, but I think the force of air flow over and under the wings would rip you straight off. jumbos cruise at a considerably higher speed then the by planes normally used, and the crucial difference is that they use jets, where as wing walking planes don't, they just have aerial engines, and the power difference is immense.
Ask an airline if they will let you try it though, they might say yes and I would very much like to see that. Bet top gear have already thought of trying it and been declined though! |
