Theoretically, it's possible, as in an aircraft will physically be able to take off with a live chicken on board and the chicken won't die, assuming that the cabin is pressurized, etc...
However, I assume what you're getting at is, do commercial passenger airlines have rules against it.... and the answer to that is you can't do it, unfortunately for you and Mr. Chicken.... no airline would allow it.
And in the meantime remember not to choke the chicken. |

I am a flight attendant and just checked my manual. It says a small animal that can fit in a container and fit under the seat or in an overhead bin is permitted, with the exception of snakes, bees, venomous or other poisonous animals. So, feel free to bring your chicken on vacation, lol. |

That is a funny question! Are you trying to have fresh chicken on board? I know airline food could be terrible sometimes but dude please leave your chicken in the village.... |

If you checked it in an animal carrier, doubt you could take it in the cabin. |

You can visit the airlines' website to get details, but I believe you will need shot records for it. Let us all know how that's workin' for you. |

As long as it is in a pet carrier there should not be a problem. I would check with your vet to determine if the altitude or temperature change in the holding area will affect your chicken. |
