Is it safe to buy flight through internet?

Is the ticket the same as the ticket that most people buy through a travel agent?

Yes, its safe to buy a flight on the internet. In fact, I think you get more perks doing it that way.

At the airport, MOST airlines charge you "ticketing fee" which can range from 10 to 20 dollars.

When you buy your ticket online, its considered an E - Ticket. Its all done on the computer.

With an E-Ticket, you can go to the airlines website and check in for your flight 24 hours in advance!
If you check in online and want to check in a bag, you can just go into the airport, go in their self check in (if they have one) and just do BAG DROP ONLY.
Saves TOns of Time!

In my experience, use either the actual airlines website or the companies with tv commericals. haha.
like orbitz, expedia, hotwire, priceline... etc etc
My favorite though is Orbitz. It hasn't let me down yet!

completely safe as long as you're on a secure website and not buying it off an individual. any airline website is fine and any internet "agent" is fine too, like travelocity.com, expedia.com, orbitz.com etc. i think more people buy online now than use travel agents. i work for an airline and 75-80% of our sales are online. the majority of the rest, call in by themsleves. only a small portion have travel agents do it for them.... and, if a travel agent DOES do it for you, it;s likely that they will just book it online anyway.

If you go to the airport last minute and buy a ticket it will be more expensive because it is last minute. Online it is cheaper. Because you are not dealing with a clerk/person. If you are thinking about buying online you should use Expedia or Travelocity. I would reccomend Expedia.

you purchase what is called an E ticket (electronic) you print your itinerary and take it to the airport with you it shows your info on it and you check in with that itinerary, they give you boarding passes at the airport. It is safe, It's been going on for years now, everyone buys tickes online. The deals are better airline tickets are cheaper. no extra money to the travel agent.

yes it is !!!!for both ?

Yes buying a ticket on the internet is safe. A great online website to find travel deals is:

Amazing Tours and Travel

You can book and save on flights, hotels, cars, cruises, vacations and more.

I use it all the time and so do my family, friends and co-workers.

Good luck and have a great day.
