yeah there are times when they tell you to turn off your electronics but then they tell you when it's okay to use them |

Look in the rules of the airline. Or if in doubt ask the stewardess.

It's no problem as long as you turn it off, like every other electronic device, during takeoff and landing. |

yeah when they say its ok to use it, use it. if it has wifi turn it off |

♥Maaadii♥
Yeah it's safe. but not during take off and landing. If you ask a flight attendant they'll tell you when you can use it anyway. But yeah it's safe |

joki_winki
Well, if your asking if it can damage your ipod. It cant..
And if your asking if flight attendents are going to bother you about turning it off, they won't. It doesn't affect the planes signals (like a cell phone would). |

jax
i think so |

Mrs.NickJonas
yeah you can you just wanna make sure you have full battery cause you can't really charge it so i would bring a couple different things to keep you entertained just incase your ipod dies |

Once your at a certain Altitude, The flight attendant or pilot will say that you can you electronic devices. So after they say that, its safe |

bob8you2

After takeoff. They'll thell you when it's safe. |

kishimat12
Yeah you can turn it on and you'll be fine after you meet arround 3000 feet. The pilot will tell you when you can turn on your electronic devices. If you have the iPhone then just turn it on flight mode and you will be fine. To get it off flight mode you may have to turn off your iPhone |

Just use it, if they complain turn it off.
all aircraft have a hydraulic backup system independent of the electronics.
how do you think nasa lands half their missions anyways, btw when they blamed that mission launch on a "mis-manufactured seal" they tried to push a deadline in bad weather that was 20 degrees below what the seal was rated to launch in, and then complained when it failed because of the expansion ratio, despite being warned by SEVERAL phd mechanical techs directly employed by nasa for safety, just ignored them all, even the phone calls to stop the launch.
People died, and now nasa blames everyone but them.
but yes, ur air plain is safe from a ipod unless it broadcasts a disruptive frequency, which it shouldn't. |

After they takeoff, they let you use approved electronics so you just have to listen closely. My uncle once use something like a ipod and somehow it doesn't work ever since. |

Aimizzle

Safe to use it anytime on the plane |
