No, for domestic travel you just need a photo ID, no passport required. =)

Since when do American citizens need a passport to fly within the U.S.A. The "War on Terrorism" brought many changes-I don't think this is one of them, though.

No. You can check this by looking on line for travel requirements in the US. You need a legal gov photo ID to check in at the airlines.

But if you want to go to Canada, you need a passport.
