Actually, being that you are only 13 , you don't need a passport or an ID. You parents or guardian will show their ID at the ticket counter. If you are traveling alone, you will be classified as an unaccompanied minor. You will be escorted to the gate and someone will meet you at the gate when you arrive. ID for you is not necessary.

You know what I work at General Mitchell International Airport, In Milwaukee, If you are going to Houston, I am assuming you are using Continental Express, Midwest Airlines or Delta Connection.

You will only need to Valid Government Issued Photo ID. That is all. Starting January 1st 2007 you will need a passport for International Flights ONLY. January 1st 2008, you will need one for travel all together...

The airport isn't that big, so don't worry about getting lost. Its is in Houston that you need to worry about.

Good Luck!

When you check in at the ticket counter, just go up stairs. There are only 3 concourses, that are really easy to point out. D, E, and C.

Unfortunately, due to tightening security in airports, you will need to present a form of photo ID to security personnel at the airport. If you do not have a drivers license, I would suggest you get a passport to show them. They probably wouldn't let you on the plane without it, especially since you are so young. Are you a US citizen? If so, you can get a passport fairly easily as long as you have a birth certificate, social security card, etc. Depending on when your flight is, you may need to pay an extra fee for expedited processing.

What do you think? off course that without passport it is impossible travel to anywhere.

Any personal ID will do only if its issued by the Government

Any government issued ID. Passport or Green Card. Birth certificate only if you're US Citizen. ID is mandatory to clear security, unless you're an infant you have to present an ID to enter the boarding area.

jean
just a state id

RC
you will need a picture ID and birth certificate, you can use a library card as picture ID

You dont need a passport to travel in US. You do not need an ID if you are 13, only people 18 and older. However, some airport workers can be dumbasses so if you have a passport you might as well bring it just in case, as long as you make sure you don't lose it, then it would just be more of a hassle.

Anytime you travel within the U.S. a passport is not necessary, nor is a green card if a U.S. citizen. The only requirement is a picture I.D. when you check in. This is a post 09/11/02 airline rule.

You dont need any ID. Only passengers 18 years of age and over must show proof of ID. So, as long as you are traveling domestically with in the US, you dont need anything.

i think as long as you have your SSN or card then it should be ok. call the airport and ask them if you need more help.
