My father in law just had an MRI that showed his carotid (artery in his neck) was 100% blocked on one side and 90% blocked on the other. He flew last September from the Washington to the east coast and back. He had surgery to clear the blockage a week or two ago. |

I think it would be classed as hardening of the arteries. If something happened abroad your insurance wouldn't cover it as it was an illness you had before you left. - my father had this for years before he died and it didn't stop him from flying to Spain every year, |
