Is the world really going to end through a black whole sometime this week?

You're talking about the news story where the scientists over in Europe are going to do an experiment on Wed this week?

The way I understand it, they don't think anything wrong can happen... but there are other scientists who believe that the experiment can accidentally cause unstable black holes inside the Earth and in 4 years it will all come to a collapsing end...

It's happeneing today, actually (i'm in australia so it's wednesday here) I'm not really sure what time though.
They are smacking protons together at close to the speed of light to try and discover how the universe was formed. The reason why they are continueing with this is because the advantages outweight the risks...I know that sounds stupid, but there is only a really really REALLY small chance that it could do this, but granted it can still happen

OMG NO ITS NOT!! my brother is working on it (hes a scientist) and its not the americans that are doing it its a lot of countries that are funding it (england, america, france, spain nd loads more) he assured me all this world ending thing is complete nd utter bollox

I do not think it will be ending sometime this week... I remember when I was younger and the estimated year of "certain death" blackhole was 2012. Either way, just live life to the fullest. Dont worry if the world will end. Live every day as if it were your last

No, I'm positive you are wasting your time worrying about that one. The world is going to end, however, probably not this week or this year, neither will it be due to something a few scientists experiment with. When the world ends, it will be the hand of God, just like he said, in his time and his way. There will be absolutely no mistake about who caused it....or why.
