Without a doubt - Singapore Airlines

gulf air are good. never had a bad trip yet.

Thai Airways is a very good airline, especially when flying in or out of or within Thailand. I live in Bangkok and fly with them often, for domestic flights they are a joy to travel with compared to the many budget airlines in this region. When I fly long-haul flights I do prefer Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines though, both have service equal to Thai, and both have newer planes and better in-flight entertainment than Thai who doesn't have personal tvs on many of their long haul flights. If Thai updates their fleet and gets better IFE, then I think they will be every bit as good as Cathay and Singapore.

Singapore, Emirates, and Cathay Pacific are the top three IMO.

But I agree that Thai has good service and good food.

have travelled on at least 25 different carriers so far, the best and the worst. Everything from Gulf Air and United Airlines to British Airways and Air NZ. However, after flying with Emirates in February, my perception of air travel has been changed drastically.

Yes, the flight from Singapore to Dubai was over booked, however at no time during the trip did I feel I would be bumped.
The staff were immaculately presented and down to earth. The staff seemed to all be Australian, British with 2 asian attendants.

On the leg between Melbourne and Singapore, a flight attendant woke us to offer us Godiva Chocolate and Champaigne on a silver platter!! Who was I to refuse.
Once in Dubai you never have more than a 3 hour wait to Europe. They fly daily to 10 airports in Europe and daily to Asia with excellent connections.

First impressions once seated : Touch screen TV in the back of the chair, loads of leg room, personal games system, excellent food, well maintained planes, friendly staff, professional.

We were even given anti DVT pillows in economy and upgraded to Business on 1 flight.

Before I flew Emirates I had heard nothing but praise about them so naturally I was curious to see whether they were worth the raving reports. I have to say that without a doubt they are! From now on I will only fly with Emirates to Europe.
The other option is Qantas (old planes and bad entertainment)
or Singapore Airlines (over rated and expensive). Its really not a tough decision to make is it?

Flying with more than 30 airlines in 9 years, I would say Cathay Pacific Airways is the best! Eva Air, Asiana Airlines and Korean Air are amongst my top favorite!

You always get good service in Cathay Pacific Airways

Singapore and Asiana are both good. My favourite is Japan Airlines, excellent service.

My four flights with Emirates were all awful, and transferring at Dubai is the pits. I really don't understand the love for that airline.

It's really a matter of personal opinion. I've never been on Thai but I hear they are good as well as Singapore and British Airlines.

never flew with a better airline than EMIRATES AIRLINES.
- Amazing Service
- Great IFE
- Well maintained planes
