My friend has her ticket but she told me some travel agent told her she need to get some type of document that costs 600 dollars that she needs to get from the hospital in nigeria. I think its bogus if anyone can help out with this please do. |

here is a link to the American Embassy in Nigeria. If that area is not the closest, you can simply type into your search bar, AMERICAN EMBASSY *insert city*, and you will find what you need. :)
A non-immigrant visitor's visa fee is $100, btw, and the site even warns against scams! lol

If the travel agent offered to get it for your friend, it is DEFINITELY bogus. He is just trying to rip you off and will probably split your money with the hospital person making up the "document". VISAs are legitimate documents, but are NOT issued by any hospital. Vaccination certificates are issued from your departure country's Department of Health, and DO NOT cost $ 600. Check with your country's embassy as to what documents you need. |
