It's not stupid, plenty of people fly in jeans all the time, i personally would not recommend it...i find that wearing yoga pants or something just as comfortable to be a better route, especially if it's a long flight. |

Unless your jeans are extremely tight fitting, I can't see any reason why wearing jeans on a plane would be uncomfortable.
Just remember you'll be sitting down for over 6 hours, so wear something comfortable and a bit loose, your body does swell, but only slightly, I'd be more concerned about having free movement around my ankles, as that's where I usually feel a bit stiff after a long flight. |

I guess it depends on what kind of jeans you wear. Do you wear skin-tight, awkward jeans? Do you wear baggy, comfortable jeans? I think if they fit you right, you shouldn't have a problem.
I would go with pajamas. |

Jeans are fine. Just wear whatever's comfortable for you, since the plane ride is long. I wore jeans on my 10-hour flight to China.

its really not that bad. i mean, if u dont give, sweats r nice. but jeans arent that bad. just stay off of skinnies or crothch-snuggers, bc then u prolly wuld b uncomfortable. |

no planes are very comfortable actually. Economy class is not as bad as they make it seem on TV. dont be fooled where jeans, and if you wear flashy clohtes the attendants will like you more. |

Jeans are kinda constricting for some people. You need to wear clothes you can stretch in and feel comfortable in for long periods of time. If that's your jeans, then wear them :) |

Wearing jeans back in the day would have been tacky but these days it is more than acceptable. I prefer to wear shorts if I'm flying to a warm climate. |

It would be uncomfortable if they are tight because you are sitting in the same place for six hours, wear something comfortable eg sweatpants and have the jeans in you carry on luggage and change when you have landed! Enjoy your flight |
