I live 45 minutes away from Clarence center New York. The plane crashed at 10 20 pm thursday night so it wasn't friday the 13th yet. But today was unlucky for me for sure I got injured at work smashing my hand while lifting this heavy generator. Buffalo, Ny has been cursed in sports and now this I love Buffalo new York and my prayers go out to the victims and the families. it's DEVASTATING NEWS !!!!! UNLUCKY DAY TODAY FOR SURE !!

50 PEOPLE DIED NOT 49 . 49 WERE ON THE PLANE AND 1 DIED IN THE HOUSE. THEY found an off duty pilot who was in the jumper seat on the plane .

It crashed on 2/12/09 at 10:20 PM. Not the 13th.

Nonetheless to say it is sad, but everyday is unlucky for somebody!

They didn't die today, they died last night at about 10:20 EST.

It crashed on the 12th. I'd say yesterday was unluckier

cuz the plane crashed on feb 12th at 10:20pm it did NOT crash on friday the 13th.

Many people (more than 50) die each day from other causes. You could say that every day is unlucky.

i think friday the 13th is cool!
(no not because everyone died)
people are just freaking out because their friends got mad or something and i can just laugh it out.
the only "unlucky" thing that happened to me was everyone practically killed me for a valentines jolly rancher lollipop :}

If it were unlucky, wouldn't it apply to everyone instead of a selected few? I would call it an unfortunate tragedy rather than bad luck.

friday the 13 is a load of bull slok. so yeah. the crash was just some coincidence. maybe is sully was the pilot they would have all lived. so yea!

That happens practically everyday. People are also born on Friday the 13th and good things happen on it too. It all evens out so it's not fair to blame this crisis on a 'bad luck' day.

OMG Guess what!?!?! I wanted to do stuff with my friends this weekend after school, but: Ones going to Michigan, 3's going to a sleepover, ones having a friend come over from another state, one going to church and to an indoor skate park, one just got a fever before school ended 101 F*, ones visiting relative,one lives far away from me, ones having a swim team thing going on, and one is grounded. It sucks! Only one friends isn't doing anything. I think it is unlucky today!!!

The crash happend on the 12th at around 10:20pm.
The 48 people who were in the plane, died.
The plan ran into a house and killed one person.
That's 49 people, not 50.

Hey, Obama wasn't made president on this day.... so it can't be just the 13th. Any day can be unlucky I guess.
