I've always found that the prices go up the longer you leave it. As the seats are filled they normally raise the price per seat. Hope it helps. Have a nice holiday! |

Buy it now. However, check back a few weeks before the flight to see if the fare has gone down. Most airlines will refund the difference--but you have to ask. |

Hey if you book a flight months ahead of the date you wish to travel, the later you leave it the more it will cost, its the same with train fares and also the same with coach tickets!
hope this helps

Buy it now, but u usually can't change those tickets.
So if u change ure mind and don't want to travel u won't be able to take the money back.
But that's the risk u have to take if u want to buy ticket on lover price, cause prices jump!
good luck! |

Here is what I usually do.
1) buy the ticket now
2) check frequently for a cheaper fare on SLIGHTLY different flight numbers (at least outbound), and if it's reduced by significantly MORE than the change fee (typically $100 in the US, $200 outside), contact the airline and ask to change to the other flights. They will probably charge the change fee, but credit the price difference toward use on a future flight.
This will only work if you travel a lot and can use the flight credit. |

you can buy it now for the price will go up when it's close to departure dates. check first if you're ticket is refundable or non refundable before buying it. any changes in your itinerary will cost you and will add up to your cheap fare and you want to save that $100 change fee. refundable tickets are the ones where you can make changes and they will not charge you and you can even refund it without penalty as long as your ticket is not expired. |

your best bet is to buy now and lock in the price...if the price drops (and I doubt it will in the summer), you can always check to see if they will honor the lower price. The closer to your departure date you get, the fewer of those low fares will be left...and you'll be kicking yourself for not buying now. Keep in mind, simply making a reservation, and actually buying the ticket, are not the same. If you make a reservation, and the fare goes up before you actually purchase the ticket, you'll pay the higher price. BUYING the ticket, locks in the fare...fyi |
