29a is window seat on the left. 29c is aisle seat.

Actually reverse that - a is a window seat, and c is an aisle seat. The seats are lettered left to right as you are standing in an aisle facing the cockpit. Larger planes (like a 747) have more than one aisle, so the lettering goes higher - a will be a window, c and d aisle, then I think g and h are aisle and j is another window - you get my drift...

A is always a window seat. C is usually an aisle seat.

Dont worry about it. The air hostess will tell you where your seat is when you board.

k8rudolph@sbcglobal.net
most airplanes I've been on have

[window] [seat a] [seat b] [seat c] [aisle] [seat d] [seat e] [seat f] [window]

you're sitting in the 27th seat. depending on plane size that could be whatever row. a is usually the aisle seat and C is the window seat.

Seat A is the window seat, then it works across the plane.

say it isn't so...
Depends on the airline, but on most American airlines Delta, and AA the letter A is usually the window and the higher the coach number goes such as number 27 you are in the back of the airplane. 29 C will most likely be aisle seat. True from what I remember. Check out this website for airplane seating charts.

27A is a window
29C is probably an aisle.

Penguin Gal
27 would be the row--then the letter (A, B, C, etc.) is the actual seat. 29C--not sure if that's a window seat or not, it all depends on what type of plane you are flying on (747, 777, MD-80, etc.)

you got it just like a champ.

MattCan
Row 27, Seat A is a window seat. On most commercial aircraft 27C will be an aisle seat, probably with a center seat 27B between.

The numbers/letters of the seats are above them, right on the overhead baggage bins. If in doubt, ask your airline stewardess...she is there to help. It's kind of hard to get lost on an airplane, though. Good luck with this. ; )

Yes, 27th is the row, and A is usually a window seat, and typically C is the aisle. You need to get out more....

ceprn
That depends on the plane configuration. You will be in row 27, and you will have the (looking from the front of the plane) seat nearest the window on the righthand side. If it's a regional plane and has a 1 - 2 seating configuration then you will actually have a window and aisle seat. have fun flying. Remember, planes are supposed to bump when they hit turbulence.

I am trying to remember...I think that means you have a window seat.....in the 27th row.

Check the airline and see if they have a seating chart for the plane and flght you are on. You will be able to see for yourself. Plane seating can vary based on the size of the plane.
