Well my ex has PR and I have to ask his permission to go out of the country for more than a month.
Your child will be given residence with you if she does this, as it is kidnapping, they will be brought back Straight away, and you have to apply to court for all this.
If the woman has family support there then she will have a fight.
You just have to ask for an emergency hearing, so then the court can agree or disagree with her intentions.
Seek legal advise tomorrow asap, and put things in place if this is what you can do. |

Okay, call your lawyer, or get the best one in town. You need to defend for your rights of custody for your son. Does he live with you? Then she does need permission. And why would she put a five-year-old on a plane by himself? You need to talk with her quick. |

hi there I work for an airline and the best solution is to inform special branch (police) of her intentions to take a child illegally out of the country without your permission, as she would in theory be child trafficking. Also inform the immigration authorities about her plans if you have details of flight bookings dates and times it all helps. I would also get in touch with your solicitor who can get a subpoena issued so if she tried to take the child out of the country the courts have the right to stop her and hand the child back to you and she would have to face court proceedings. I would firstly get your lawyer to get things moving as you don't want to take the law into your own hands. Make sure you cover all aspects before jumping in at the deep end.
hope this helps |

If the child is under her sole-custody I don't believe there is anything you can do, as long as she is still living with the child, otherwise I am sure you can bring this to court with intentions to receive sole custody of him yourself under circumstances that the mother was not caring for him.
However, if she does not have sole custody inform the police right away. Also if you know the airport/plane/date of departure that the child is scheduled to take, inform the police about that too, they should be able to contact the airport and ask to hold the child and the mother |

No she cant do that, if you still have parental rights over that child. You should go to your lawyer or to the police and sort it out with them.
Transportation by Airplane: Airline regulations govern the age at which a child may fly unescorted. An older
child may fly under such regulations as each airline may establish. Airline reservations should be made well
in advance, and preferably non-stop. The parent who is taking the child to the airport must call the other
parent immediately upon departure to notify the other parent that the child is arriving, and the parent who
meets the child must immediately notify the other parent that the child has arrived. Parents should consider
in making the decision on this method of transportation whether or not the child may need an adult to
chaperon the flight.
