Laptops as carry-ons? |
Can I take my laptop with me as a carry-on on an airplane? I know business people travel with there laptops, but I'm not sure if I can take it with me as a carry-on. I didn't know if it would hurt it going through the little x-ray thing in security. Thanks! |

Yes u can take it. Most airlines will allow u to take one personal and carry on. Just make sure when u put it down so it can go through the x-ray machine remeber to take it out out of its case. The x-ray will not hurt the laptop. hope i helped and have a great trip. |

Yes you can take it on the plain,but you have to take it out of the case when you go through security.

You certainly can!
I would also suggest that you tie a colorful ribbon around your laptop so that you can easily identify it, as most laptops are somewhat similar in color and style and it would be easy for someone to mistake it for their own.
And no, the X-ray machine will not harm your computer at all.

Most airlines allow a laptop as a personal item in addition to a carry on bag. You will need to place your laptop in a separate plastic tray for x-ray and the x-ray will not harm your laptop. Check your airline's website to be sure what their policy is. |

Absolutely. You'll just have to take the laptop out of your bag when you go through the security checkpoint.
The xray machines will not damage the computer at all. |

Many businessmen and women carry their laptops with them everywhere they go. When you get to the airport you'll be surprised to see at the gates how many people have laptops. |

You can take your laptop. You can even use it in-flight. See www.tsa.gov for more info.
And technically, the x-ray machine CAN damage your laptop or other electronics, just like your plane CAN crash. Neither has ever happened to be, and probably won't to you. |

Yes you can take it as a carry on. You will have to put it on the x-ray thing. You need to take it out of its case and put it in one of the plastic
shoe bins. Otherwise. when they see the lap top in your bag, they will stop you and delay you to check it. |
