it depends on the airline. just go to the airline's website and check their weight restrictions. i'm sorry, but it really varies a lot between the different carriers. some have a maximum total allowance, and some will just charge you for extra.

50 pounds or youy pay like a buck a pound after that 3 bag max per person or its extra carry on can be 20 lbs

Depends on airline. Most allow a bag of max 6kg to be carried on board but it must fit into the over head locker.Max to check in again depends on airline and route. For example most scheduled flights eg BA allow 2 bags of no more than 32kgs per bag per person on flights going to the US, but on flights to Europe only one piece of 20kgs. No bag can weigh more than 32kgs on any airline due to restrictions on the amount of weight that can be lifted by a baggage handler. Best advice is to check with whoever you are travelling on due to the variation between airlines

Many airports now have a weight limit of 32 kg per item. Items heavier than that are banned as part of health and safety protection for baggage handlers. Most mainstream European airlines have an allowance of 20 kg per person, but for low-cost airlines it's often 15 kg. Look on your ticket to see what it is. If you have more than your allowance you may have to pay extra. US airlines have an allowance of 2 cases per person weighing up to 70lbs each. That's why you see so many American passengers at Heathrow struggling with cases they cannot even move.

Depends on airline and destination. Check with carrier as the cheap airlines only allow 15Kg. where most others allow 20.

Depends on the carrier. Most long haul carriers are bringing in a 20kg limit on one bag. Some of the European shorthaul now limit you to 15kg but allow more cabin allowance.

Depends on the Airline and whether you are flying internal, short haul or long haul and which class you are paying. Also now depends on the number of pieces of luggage as well as weight.

My experience suggests that it can range from between 15kg and 20Kg.
