Having the window seat and sitting next to someone who won't shut up when I just want to look at the view.

I finally got enough points and money to fly first class, I thought I'd avoid the kids, seat punching, farting, coughing etc., but, no, there was this guy in first class laughing so loud and talking to his friend, constantly calling the stewardess, spilled a drink all over the place trying to stand up and go to the bathroom. Now I think the only way to have a nice flight is to own your own plane. |

the most annoying passenger is the man who is so afraid of flying, that he shivers and keeps saying "oh my god we going to crash" |

Toddlers are always a problem for me. They are old enough to know how to unbuckle the belt and get up and wonder around. They cry through much of the flight, and if you get stuck next to one, you are going to end up with crackers on your pants.
The sad part is that ten years ago the toddlers were not as bad as they are now. You see a lot of parents ignore the situations now days where as in the past they would have dealt with it.
I travel a lot for business and I get to see it all, and sometimes twice a day. What I don't understand is why most parents fly with there children during peak hours when the kids are usually awake. If they fly early morning or red eyes the kids will be tired and sleep the entire flight. Wouldn't that make it easy on everyone? Of course you kid is not going to want to sit in their seat for four hours in the afternoon, but they sleep the flight away when it leaves at 9 p.m. |

I feel very sorry for you and all the other passengers/flight attendants/pilots.
My bad experience was when the little kid next to me kept on wanting to go to the bathroom and visiting his parents.(i was sitting on the row seat.) It wasn't too bad though once we changed seats. |

People who smell or people with babies – the last think you want to hear on a 14 hour flight is a baby screaming the whole way.
Although the worst experience I had was one of those strangers who sit next to you and don’t stop talking. But the thing about the guy I had sitting next to me was that every time he spoke he blinked his eyes like 10 times every second – doesn’t sound that annoying right? Well try it for 14 hours from Singapore to London and see how annoying it is. Lol |

the passenger who gets airsick and barfs all over you.
Why do they make the chairs tilt back so far ? It is VERY annoying to the person sitting behind. |

I'm surprised they did't ask them to leave the aircraft...I had a man and his little baby girl next to me once, and when we started to land, the baby's ears were hurting and she started screaming so hard, she threw up all over her dad, he was scrambling to find towels, he used his shoe!!! It was sad more than annoying, I felt so bad for him... |

Everytime I fly, the guy sitting next to me (thypoid bob) is sick and coughing.
Every single time. I always try to get an aisle seat so I can bolt off the plane immediately. |

I know how you feel. Last year we were going to key west. we live in illinois so we left from ohara airport and we flew into fort myers, but that flight there were little kids who wouldnt stop crying, throwing food, 2 of them got sick, one had an accident in there pants, and the mother was rushing to the bathroom, and the kids were screaming, and she kept reading them a book over there cries! they were right behind me and my mom and dad, my brother was across from us, but the kids were driving everyone nuts! The worst flight I have ever been on. |

I remmember a funny incident while flying by etihad aiways from Mumbai to abu Dabi. The airhostesses were serving dinner ok and then he asks me if I can give him some money to buy dinner since he did not have any money. He told me was very hungry. When I told him that the food was free he was surprised. |

The most annoying thing during flight is when you wake up hurriedly with the voice of your snore while other passengers looking at you. very embarrassing!! |

My travel often involves overnight flights to Europe. What aggravates me is people being loud when most people on the plane are trying to sleep. |

OK, I have to say the most annoying experience may not be the passengers. There are some flight attendants that probably need a career change IMHO. I've seen them be rude to well behaved kids, elderly people and just the passengers in general.
There have been times that meal trays are sitting in front of your seat for over an hour, taking mine into the galley one time started a rush of passengers grabbing up theirs and following suit. Then when the attendants finally show up they glare at you like You did something wrong.
I'm not saying all flight attendants are bad, it's just those few that are unhappy, unsmiling, or on a power trip.
On the whole I have noticed in the past year that attitudes and service are getting back to what they were before when flying was a special event.
Oh yeah, other pet peeve? When watching a good movie and people open their windows and blare out the monitors. |
