Motion Sick in a Plane....? |
I get car sick from reading in the car, doing just about anything. i was going to get a book to read on the plane. do u think i would get motion sick or not?? ive never been on a plane before so im not quite sure. i do have a window seat.

i usually take ginger pills. i dont wanna take draminine cause it makes me too tired. do u think i should just take the ginger pills even though i dont know if im gunna get sick?? |

I also get sick in a car when reading; I also get sick on buses time to time. However, I've never gotten sick on a plane, even with the worst turbulence. I usually, however, have an aisle seat, but a window seat is just as good, if not better.
There's a good chance you won't get sick on the plane, even if you do read. However, I will recommend that you take Dramamine, because sleeping on the plane is the best thing to do.
You should be fine, so enjoy your flight. |

more than likely no, I get sick in the car the same way you do, and I've never got motion sickness on a plane, I've flown a few times. If you do, just keep some Dramamine with you, that rids motion sickness. |

I get sick reading in the car too but not on planes- I fly all the time and read or do work on my computer. I like window seats better as well- I don't feel as uncomfortable as in the aisle. |

If you get motion sick in a car, you have a good chance of getting motion sick in a plane. See if you can switch to an aisle seat near the rear of the plane so you will be closest to the lavatory. Take your ginger pills, or go with the dramamine. Being sleepy is a lot better than being motion sick, especially if you have to use the in-flight sickness bags. |

there is a product called relief band on the market. It's basically a watch like device that sits on a nerve on your wrist. It sends electrical pulses to the nerve and somehow controls the nausea. I use it fishing, while bouncing around the ocean smelling fish guts and diesel fuel. Should work for you on a plane ride. |

I get motion sickness on a plane, train or anything that moves. Dramamine will work, but it makes you sleepy. You can take pepto bismol tablets to releive nasea, and you can sniff lavendar essential oils sprinkled on a tissue. |

I've had motion sickness all of my life. I get really sick swinging on a porch glider. An hour before flying I take a Dramamine tablet- - - no sickness and no sleepiness. |
