No, no, no...one will be more than sufficient. I've flown with several people who exceed your stats with several different airlines and there has never been any problem. Good luck!

Just an idea... if you are seriously considering the possibility of purchasing two coach seats, be sure to see how much the cost of one seat in first and/or business class will be. If your flight is a relatively short domestic one (2 hours or less), the price difference between one first class seat and two coach seats may not be that much.

I doubt it. Generally you have to be very large to have to purchase 2 seats.

depending on how far you have to travel (length of flight) if it's a short flight, you might be ok. If its a longer flight, try and get an aisle seat on an emergency exit row. That will elliviate space between you and a row in front of you, as there won't be one in front of you. More leg room, but be sure to book your tickets well in advance and make mention that you would like an exit row.

you only need one for your weight but if you think you will be uncomfortable with the seat-belt all you have to do is call the airline ahead of time and request a seat-belt extender. it clips on with ease and can make a big difference in your comfort. If you forget to call ahead they may or may not have one available, so make that call! And don't worry! discrimination is still against the law and if there are any snide remarks( I've never encountered any)you can "have "their job as they well know. The stewardesses/stewards are very nice and eager to help in a discrete manner.

It depends on a couple things. Which airline are you going on? Some, such as Harmony in Canada, have smaller seats than other airlines. If it's a larger airline, then I would say you could probably get away with just one seat. If the flight is more than 2 and a half hours, get 2 though. Otherwise you'll be uncomfortable by the end. Try to get an aisle seat so you can kinda lean into the aisle (like rest ur arm on that armrest, and stick a foot in the aisle)--that's what my mom does and she's around your size (little shorter and little lighter, but not by much).
I'd say you're borderline. If you have extra money, get the extra seat, but if you're tight on money and it's not too long of a flight, just get the one seat.
Happy flying!

it depends on the airline...some airlines now have larger seats to accommodate fat people...but i think ull be fine with one, ull just be tight...

I'd recommend two, for your comfort and that of others. Call a travel agent and attempt to get seated in the exit row ... I recently found out that's the only way to get those seats, normally.

Also, for your own sake, get your thyroid function tested. Not just TSH, but T3 and T4. Underactive thyroid can have a lot to do with extra weight. Then on the other hand, underactive thyroid rarely causes SO MUCH extra weight (I'm 5'2", 132 lbs, hypothyroid for 12 years, and I lift weights and am naturally muscular to begin with ... so fat-wise, I'm about 8 pounds overweight with a long-established thyroid deficiency). So you may have other problems which are causing the weight gain. You should also see a nutritionist and an ND to see what's causing the issue. I also recommend "Power of 10" by Adam Zickerman ... twice weekly SHORT weight programs, and I do yoga three times a week, and control my weight very well with just that.

Good luck, there's no need for you to live with so much extra. You can do it, I promise!
