You must be at least 15 tot sit in the Exit Row. There is no limit on how old you may be, however you must be willing and able to assist in the event of an emergency eveacuation. Depending on the aircraft, the window exit can way 80lbs. or so. |

you must be fit and able to get out of the way , so those with problems stand no chance , the pitch of seats these days should be 30 inch back of the seat to seat in front , but no luck ,stack them high and count the profit |

You have to be able-bodied because you are next to the emergency exit...you might have to push the door out or help people. |

I'm crew on BA and you have to be over 18, so i should think its prob the same. the old and disabled, can not sit at a emergency exit as in a emergency evac,you have to operate the exit. which you will be told at the start of taxing. And small children on laps and in their own seats can not be sat at the exit...... god i know my stuff!!!!!! your be safe on my flight, until ive hit the bar!!!! xxxxx |
