You will have to ship the dog as frieght, I use trains. It sucks ***,but the dog will be soooooo happy to see you when yo meet him at the train :)

try jet blue. you need to look into it now thou, because they only allow 2 dogs per flight

Possibly your dog's name is on the terrorist list and they aren't telling you!

I hear you! I have a cat and just hate the discrimination pets undergo. You can't bring a pet with you in the cabin and then you see these horrible poopie babies crying all flight and driving you nuts, however no babies go in the cargo! I think most airlines do not allow you pet in the cabin due to weight restrictions but they should allow the pet in the cargo. I know it sounds scary, but most airlines tak good care of your pet. I had my cat on USAirways in the cargo for an 8 hour flight from germany to the States and was just fine, just tired and of course eager to get out of the cage. Along with her were other dogs and cats. Good luck!

Call your airport and ask them which airline allows you to bring your dog along. They will tell you which ones and the requirements.

Most airlines do allow pets but if the cage can't fit under the seat then they must go cargo.

Only a few airlines well not allow dogs at all. A few they must fly in baggage compartment.
If you plan on carrying dog on to/ in the cabin with you. His/her cage must fit under the seat.
Not many 15lb dogs can do that.
If he well fit in carry on cage. You well still pay for him/her.
And a cargo/baggage you well pay. Coat very from airline to airline.
Now if you have a good Dr. you can ask him to write a letter to the airline. Claim the dog is your service/guide dog. Does not mean for blind, just that you need its company to keep from flipping out. It has been know to work.
Over my many years of Travel I have seen some very interesting service animals allow on plane.
