See through plastic bags? |
which shops sell these plastic bags that we must now put our toothpaste,shampoo,etc.in ,whilst going through check ins at airports.i assume that any old sandwich bag wont do would it?

Unless you have some specialist medication or creams, it's not worth the hassle. Even small sealed containers of creams and sealed small drinks can get taken off you. Just buy a bottle of water and emergency toothpaste etc in the departure lounge shops, after you've gone through security. As someone said, put shampoo, mosquito repellent, suncreams etc in your main luggage. If the case gets lost, you can normally replace anything like that at the other end - unless you're going to the back of beyond, in which case you would be careful to buy a supply of any essentials in the departure lounge and add it to your hand luggage then.
(But obviously, with medication, follow the clear plastic bag guidelines - a freezer bag will do fine.)
Funny thing is, they didn't care at the Greek airport I returned from last week. We just walked through with drinks and whatever. |

Superdrug sells them.Only liquids in your hand luggage that is 100ml or less needs to go in plastic bag.Anything 200ml can go in hold luggage and does not need to be in plastic bag.I only take in hand luggage what I absolutley need for the flight. |

Most airports give these bags away for free or you can purchase them there. So just use any bag and transfer your stuff to the other bag when u get to the airport. |

they are available at all airports actually. they must be sealed up,too. with a proper seal or a zip. |

They must be no larger than a quart size ziplock bag that can be sealed and all things in them must be 3.4 oz's or less. Most stores carry them and most airlines/airports do not supply them (gets very expensive when given to almost every passenger). |
