wow.. i just read some terrible answers and even worse advice.

if you are thinking of a career as a pilot and you are not sure weather you want to fly fixed wing (airplanes) or rotorcraft (helicopters) it is easy to work out

aproach a helicopter school in you area and a fixed wing school in you area and organize an introduction flight. you will not get an answer that will help until you have done this. the reason being that there are arguments for both and the determining factor has to be which one you fall in love with.

introductory flight dont cost too much and it will settle your indecision. cost should not be a factor either coz if you do choose to become a pilot you have to be prepared to spend a lot of money for training.

MR T
if you want to be wealthy i chose an airplane beacuse there are many passengers waiting for you and that means more money. if you fly a helicopter. it is hard to get a passenger but if you are lucky enought to have a rich boss that you fly somewhere else that means money. so if you want to have a good lifestyle fly an airplane.

dude H
Helicopters!!!!!!!
wayyy much more manuverable...if thats how u spell it and u can allso fly for the coast gurd..or on rescue missions...
:)
ands airplanes...u just fly....from one place 2 another....

I would say... become a fighter pilot.... they have some insanely fun missions to complete... I know.

If you've got the brains and the skill set - most definitely!
Good luck...

You should pursue this goal,as that is something you want to do.Research what it will take to become a pilot,go from there.Good luck.

Katya
Definitely. Helicopters are just so kewl - especially those huge Chinooks!
