Dig deep - Ethiad airways does a flat bed in Business class (usually a first class reserve) for really reasonable rates but check out www.businessclassflights.com and www.firstclass.farecompare.com. If you just want to go business and not pay too much more check out Premium Economy on Virgn Atlantic. The staff can be a little unfriendly at times, but the seats are some of the biggest in the business class range and only about £300 more expensive than an economy seat - also get free bubbly! :) I hope you really enjoy Australia :) |

By all means splurge! Economy is no fun on short flights, I can't imagine it on an Australian flight. Go ahead, spend your children's inheritance! They'll understand. |

If your pocket is deep enough go business, you can't take your money with you when you leave this life! Enjoy every moment of your trip to the full XXXX |

If you have the money...for goodness sake spend it! That is a VERY long flight and you will be so much more comfortable in business class. Have a great trip. |

Yeah. Pretend to be uber-rich, wear a suit. Bring a briefcase, and fly Bussiness.
Unless its a economy airlines, where they're bussiness class only has headphone jacks and 2 more inchs of space. |

If you can afford Business class I would go with that.
There is a huge difference between business and economy. It is a L O N G trip to Australia, and you would enjoy your 3 course steak dinner, wine, and 1st class service. The extra leg room and bed like seating is also a plus for a long flight.
Enjoy your trip |

If you're 85 and can swing it, dip in and go in style! If you say you will never have the opportunity to do so, I say go all out.
Enjoy! Have a safe trip! |

At 59 if I was travelling that far I would be seriously thinking about business class, I have done several long haul flights and they can be very tedious and uncomfortable plus the risk of deep vein thrombosis is increased. If its a once in a lifetime trip and you can afford it make sure everything about it is right and travel comfortably. |
