I'm guessing (by your poor spelling of Ibiza and the fact that you think Dole still exists) that you're not really in touch with the real world. You never truly know the meaning of money until you don't have any. I bet you've never had to carefully shop around Iceland buying the cheapest pasta so that you can at least eat and not be hungry. I bet you've never lain awake at night worrying about how you're going to pay your bills. Sometimes, having something to look forward to (such as a holiday) is all you have in life.

People who earn less than Â£40k usually work a lot harder than people who earn more and therefore need and deserve a holiday more. Having been on both sides of your definition of the poverty line, I find your snobbery repulsive. I now earn less than I used to and work a whole lot harder for it - through choice. That doesn't mean I should not be allowed to experience the beauty of other countries and cultures. Remove your head from your anus and you might see things a bit more clearly.

I earn more than 40k and by no means do i think i am above people who earn less then me . I'm happy to pay for business class when i fly as it keeps me away fro people like you who cant afford it. So my friend i think you find you are actually the poor one.

How do you define poor people? Is that a person who works very hard to make sure their family has enough food to eat, roof over their heads and their children get an education, but they don't have enough to do a lot of other things? Are they people who are in so much debt that they can't afford to pay anything off? Is it people who may seem to be in bad shape because of their clothing? Poor people can vary from country to country, city to city, area to area. What you may think is poor in your area is rich in another. Many people you may consider poor don't drink and don't smoke.

You can't decide that a person is poor because they sit next to you on a plane and they don't look the greatest. My ex-boss was a multi-millionaire owning Marinas, Resorts, Restaurants, etc.. but he came to work everyday in a Tshirt & jeans. Drove a 25 year old car. Didn't always look the greatest. If he sat next to you on the plane would you determine that he was poor because of the way he looked?

You have no right to judge me on my appearance on the way I look or the way I dress no more than I have to judge that you are an idiot for posting a dumb question like this. We are not a rich family nor are we poor. We are a family who travels because we want to. because we worked our butts off to save money so we could.

If the people have the money to pay for a vacation then they should take it whether you like it or not. If you feel that you deserve better then fly Business or First Class.

rich people don't use commercial flights... they own private jets and do not go through the rigors of airport madness... if they do use commercial flights then they would be assisted by airline personnel who would then whisked them away to the nearest first class lounge... well then if you can't even shell out an additional 3K for a premium seat then I guess we wouldn't be in the same class... because if I would be sitting next to you I would be puking out my brains out... you are obviously too poor to sit next to me...

poor you having to sit with the likes of me when flying,and to make it worse to have to see poor people when you are on holiday to spoil yours.Well pardon me ,though we come from a council house,but have owned my own house untill of late,My husband has worked all his life and still does ,we are not dole bums as you call them,and most people who live in humble dwellings are not ALL dole bums either,so what makes you think you are so inferior to the rest of us,Enjoy your hols i say all of you who have worked to bring up your famillies,NO matter what sort of house you live in,.....Heres one for you to get pi**ed off about .... WE are off to FLORIDA again this year, i hope you wont,as id hate to bump in to you and spoil your hlos..... Poor people should not be allowed to leave the country for anything apart from emigration purposes. I would also ban international travel for wealthy people with no manners and a slim grasp of reality. I am of the opinion that the worst international travellers are the wealthy ones who can afford to be a higher class of knobhead...there's loads of these.

I'm poor and on benefits because I am a carer. I bet I work double the amount of hours you do in any week. After saving for ages I am having a holiday this year - I need one, a change of scene and a chance to re-charge my battery. Two weeks for me rather than working 100+ hours a week!

I do not consider myself poor. I have a great family, a nice kid, am educated, do not drink and, hopefully, have friends I can rely on. I think I'm quite well off. I would consider the holiday a disaster if I was stuck beside you for four hours on a plane. You are not good enough to travel with me. You may be rich in money terms but, as a human being, you are a complete waste of space!

poor people as you refer to them deserve every privilege that you deem yourself to deserve...i do not agree with peoplewho abuse the benefit system, and use this money on useless endeavours, but just because someone is from a council estate, or 'poor' background, does not mean they are not intitled to enjoy life pleasures

I earn way more than 40k both me and my husband and were brought up by professional parents but by no means would anyone in my family feel the way you do .
