Here's a fact to reasure you, there is more people in the world that die from donkeys thyen from planecrash. Think of that while in the plane and enjoy your flight. |

Wear comfortable clothing. Security workers are rude, be patient. Yes, you packed it yourself. No, it was not left anywhere unattended. Take something to read. Try to get a window seat (unless heights bother you...then get an aisle seat). Go through the motions of a yawn to pop your ears. Have fun! |

Do you ever hear of commercial airline crashes? No.
Do you hear of automobile crashes with fatalities?
Everyday. Enjoy your flight, just be careful on the ride to the airport. |

Remember to wear a turban, pack a ticking clock and plenty of icing sugar. |

Just relax, all the shakes, vibrations, and other things that make you wanna say: "what the heck was that", are normal. A plane is a giant, noisy, machine. You have to realize very, VERY, few planes have any problems in the air. The FAA says every airline must inspect every plane before it can leave the gate. If you have any questions, you can always ask your nearest flight attendant.
You should take something to keep your mind off your worries, e.g., a laptop, book, dvd player, iPod, etc.
Or fly Frontier, they have DirecTV! |

Flying has been proven to be one of the safest forms of travel. There are more car accidents than plane crashes. |

just buckle up and bring gum and ear plugs. your ears might pop and hurt like hell for a few minutes when you go up and down for lift offs and landings |

hell no, it's so fun!
but sometimes your ears pop so if you want, you can chew gum while taking off
oh, and it's cold in there so take a hoodie or something with you
and if it's domestic, you get peanuts/some other snack! (yay) so you don't have to taste the horrible airplane food so you're all good :)
and don't worry, planes very very rarely ever crash. and nobody's gonna hijack one during spring break.
have fun! |

Fall asleep if you can, if you can't its boring. Bring something that you could entertain you all day if needed. I know some people bring sudokus or cross word puzzles. I bring an ipod and sleep. The other thing is remember to chew gum on take off, i usually end up putting a lot of pieces in my mouth so i have to chew hard and to prevent my ears popping. Also yawning helps. |

It is more dangerous to drive a car than to fly a plane.
Flying is exciting, you should enjoy it. |

well it's been tested and proved that you're more likely to be in a car wreck than in a plane accident. that's what i always tell myself before i take off^_^ and when your ears start to pop then yawn cuz that equalizes the pressure |

I HATE flying, especially since 9/11. I don't know how old you are, but whenever I have to fly, I call my doctor and get some Valium. He gives me a prescription for just a few pills and that's all I need. I take one about an hour before the flight and I'm fine. He told me lots of people request a tranquilizer for flying and that it's no big thing. |
