cut up a red bell pepper into strips, and drizzle it with olive oil. then put it in a sandwich bag. also, you should get some nutri-grain bars. and some sun chips.

how about the cereal bars, they are filling. You will be able to get drinks ont he plane, also onceyou are thru security you can buy drinks for the plane.

Many airlines sell snacks or snack variety packs during the flight. They do provide free soft drinks, water and coffee. I bring peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, they don't need refrigeration. I throw in a few candy bars too. I fly overseas pretty often and really like my free upgrades and free chow!

You wont really have to worry about the snacks. They sell snack and drinks on the plane. Trust me, i've been on a 5 hour flight too. If you still want to bring your own snacks, they will let you bring water bottles. So bring any snack you want! Have fun!

Gum of course! Your ears will most likely get plugged as you fly into the air.

If you have any type of drink while you are going through customs they will tell you to throw it away and you can buy one after customs and that one that you buy, you can take on to the plane.
It's really simple.

And on your carry on, bottles have to 3oz. or less. All your little things in your carry on bag need to be in a plastic bag. Not all smooshed together in a plastic bag. The people at the airport need to be able to see everything in your plastic bag when it goes through the x-ray, so it can't be all together.

Cereal snack bars are best. Don't bring anything salty or dry like pretzels. How about some raisins or trail mix? I love those peach rings, they are kind of a jelly kind of candy. Tasty and won't make you thirsty.

Boiled sweets like Werthers or Murray Mints are good for sucking to keep your mouth occupied. If you take salty treats make sure you have some water because they make you really thirsty.

Fresh fruit is good, like apples, grapes or pears. If you take these, then you can also take pretzels too. I usually pack a couple of sandwiches in addition. Flying always makes me hungry.

you can't bring any snacks either. Do not worry, they will suply you with food, and drinks on the plane. Bon Voyage!
