You can go onto Scandanavian Air SAS to find promotional deals. Sometimes its better to go with a dominant carrier for that country to get low fares for international flights.
You must be more specific in your question, questions to ask yourself,
What are the dates of travel?
Is this a one way or round trip flight?
Can I be flexible with my departure/Arrival City?
What budget I am I working with? What is expensive to you?
I found a flight on SAS for 426 USD. Is that expensive? It was a promotional flight.

Internation flights require more investigating and a travel agent with a GDS system can better serve your needs. i would call an agency for Flight info, get the flight numbers that work for your budget, then type them into a search engine for commercial travel, like orbitz or kayak.

You have to undesrtand that International flights are very finicky in pricing because they can go up, and down day by day, make sure for the lowest possible fare, its in COACH/ECONOMY seating and a RESTRICTED fare. If its Round trip, look for the best combos, a travel agent can help with that. Also, remember one way fares can be pricey with out a return!

They all have the same results as far as I can tell. I did just as well buying directly from the airline.

Go directly to the airline website. Most of the time its planned a month prior there are good discounts.

My experience in trying to find a cheap flight to Europe was that the sites and direct from the Airlines were all about the same. Whatever you can find, take. Flights are not cheap any longer.

Believe it or not, but international fares are usually cheaper if you go through a local travel agent. Call them up, tell them when and where, and they'll do all the work for you. If it's still too expensive, try going through an airline directly. If you call them and tell them that you're a student, or you have a family emergency or whatever your case may be, they almost always give you a cheaper rate.... Good luck.

Don't get tickets that are too cheap. Some airline companies will screw you over. Like orbitz, choose one thats in a medium price range.

Any rough price guidelines? And I'm sure you know there are no direct flights. Were you hoping for just one stopover?

I'll see what I can do, though =] Any more info would be great, though.
