you can read. You need to find a good book. No matter what anyone says there is a book out there that they won't be able to put down. They just need to look. Also bring card decks (I was on a 14hr flight nonstop and that was all I had. Could not stop playing), Jumble, crossword and soduko books. Anything that can play a movie would be good because it could take up most of the time. Magazines!! |

Jump up and scream out"O.K. NOBODY MOVE AND NOBODY GETS HURT".
Then just sit down and see where the party goes from there. |

I would say take a sleeping pill ! ..That should help you ...Sleeping pills always work for me ! lol ..It relaxes me , but doesn't always put me to sleep ....! Um. why don't you try reading a book or something ..their isn't too much you can do on a plane ..unless you have a tv in front of you , you could watch a movie ...or maybe if you have a digi video game system you could play that ! Hope this helps ...good luck ! Hope you have a great time !
Merry Christmas ! |

BEFORE YOU LEAVE....and I'm serious about this -- go to the bookstore and under "COMEDY" section (although they aren't all comedy) -- get "Uncle John's Bathroom Reader" books...so totally awesome. A lot of FACTS and fun in them. We have probably every issue in our bathroom --- ha ha -- but my husband has taken them on trips. You can LEARN a lot from them, be amazed by them and laugh....they are aweseome. |

Buy a portable DVD player (there about $100) and watch movies while your travel or buy a good book. |

Request a seat near an F/A. They often go to the same destination frequently and are a wealth of information about your destination. Chances are, they've been there, done that and know all the tricks. Often when they are seated on their Jumpseat they like to make conversation with passengers in the row in front of them. Just don't bug them during critical phase of flight as this is when they are doing safety related duty called "Silent Review". That's when they are mentally preparing for things we won't get into here. Google the term "Silent Review" for details. Like everything at 37, 000ft, it's all about safety...That is the primary role of the Flight crew.
Invest in a $20 Gudie book on your destination. Get out a highlighter and plan and plot your post-landing activities.
Tear out the relavent pages and leave the rest of the book behind for someone else to enjoy. |
