The name on your flight information has to match exactly to the name on your ID, it will most likely be a problem. Call the airline and have them fix the name and send you a new itinarary. |

I wouldn't say its a huge problem but you might want to call back and get that fixed up before you have some real pissed off friends. |

call the airline you booked the flight with, since this is an international flight, its always best to double check for typo's on your ticket, just make sure it matches the name on your passport, to avoid any delays in customs. |

Its really depends on the airline. What airline is it?
Best would be to call the airline, and check. Just to be sure.
Some airlines are really strict.

It is not a serious problem if you call the airline and tell them the mistake. Be courteous and they will help you, if the first person to answer doesn't help you, (he/she may be new or inexperienced) ask to be attended by a supervisor and explain again. Tell them that "maybe they can insert the correct name as an 'OSI' in the record". Normally they do it as cases like this are not uncommon. |

Call the airline and have them amend the flight record for that passenger. This has happened to me when others have booked flights for me and they still allowed me to fly even though the names didn't exactly match to the letter, but since you are flying overseas, you probably want to get it corrected as soon as possible. |
